Dr. Blasucci has been a practicing psychologist for over 30 years. His expertise is in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy. Additionally, he specializes in Substance Abuse and is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug counselor.
He received his Doctorate from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University.
He received his undergraduate degree from Boston University.
Dr. Blasucci has been awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is also a fellow of the Acadamy of Clinical Psychology.
He was awarded the Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and Other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders by the American Psychological Association.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Blasucci is the Director of Substance Abuse Counseling Services for two major treatment facilities in Middlesex County.
In 2010, Dr. Blasucci was appointed as a Clinical Instructor at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Blasucci has 2 gubernatorial appointments to the Child Fatality and Near Fatality Review Board for the State of New Jersey as a Substance Abuse Expert.
